Here are a few shots from my wheel around the Great Lake.

The first highlights Tuggeranong Library, surely rivaling the architectural stature of Florence's Duomo.

Okay, the obligitory scene-setting image.


However I had two shots in mind, the first is my local response to Anna's classic landscape effort. Only 25km from home, at short notice, this was the best that I could do.


My second shot is a re-shoot; an attempt to improve upon a photo I took last November. The light was close but not close enough, no bikkie.

I wheeled around Lake Ginninderra, took these tree shots. The latter two are different shots of the same scene, taken at different focal lengths and exposure. Strong backlighting caused the blowout in green of the willow tree leaves.
