North East AFL - Round 2
North East AFL Draw Ainslie Kangaroos versus Greater Western Sydney Giants at Ainslie Oval Some general play shots - sporting event photography isn't my forte. Here we see GWS' star recruit, Israel Falua, bought from rugby league and now on a one year fast-tracking course to being an AFL player, via the Foxtel Cup and NE-AFL competition. GWS play in the AFL from 2012. Quarter time at a suburban game and people can gather around the teams to hear what each coach has to say. Veteran Ainslie trainer, Paul.

Special information from my insider at team Komodo "Our team went pretty well. We are a new club started this season with 65% of rookies and achieved an unbelievable result at the 2011 Natchamp. Our women's team ranked 4th in 200m and 500m........ When we came back from the 500m grand final, the crowds cheered for us because we were only 0.03 sec behind the 3rd place..... I am just so proud of my team and thankful to all our supporters."
Unreal, that says it all - this was a four day regatta, State competition followed by Club level racing. Some photos below in no particular order.

2011 Shannon's Canberra Motor Show - Part 3
Triumph TR2 from memory.
I took the following photo to contrast the difference in car length - Fiat vs. Cadillac - allowing for lens distortion and all that, they were well lined up.
Full-frontal of the 1971 Fiat.
Side-on view of the Cadillac, thinking it is about 2nd or 3rd generation.
I met some of the Mini owning fraternity, ever-quick to point out they drive the original Mini Cooper S, not the hyped new breed.
Don't remember what this is, the paintwork was exceptional.
