Old Parliament House Lawns
Easter Saturday, 2011
Blurb I lifted:: The first completely new Holden of the 1960s was the EJ, a design ten widely considered the best to date. As well as a restyled body, the EJ range introduced the name 'Premier' which for the greater part of two decades, would be identified with luxurious Holdens. A total of 154,811 were built, with standard sedans selling for $2102.
Photos - all taken with a Pentax K-5 and FA31mm lens. Couldn't believe my luck when I spotted a field of EHs at Old Parliament House; naturally I stopped, cleared the memory card on my camera and spent three or four hours meeting owners and grabbing photo opportunities as I soon discovered this was a National exhibition, occurring biennially in rotating capitals. In years to come these classics will be garaged permanently.
Below are shots I took on OPH lawns, call this Part A. In the next installment, each State car club moved their cars side-by-side for an even rarer photo-op.
