Dougie Bollinger delivers a searing bouncer to Shaun Marsh, who at the time, was on four runs and struggling against hostile bowling.  Marsh went on to complete a tough century.  Duotoned via Silver Efex Pro
Half a second later, we see batsman, bowler, umpire and batting partner all facing the same direction.  Marsh had somehow survived the bouncer.  Duotoned via Silver Efex Pro

Voges survives Bollinger.

Somehow, Voges survives.
Adam Voges plays down the line, misses the ball, only to be dismissed a few deliveries later.  Nil footwork.
I missed the Voges dismissal, high-fives to Dougie Bollinger.

Sunday 7th September, 2008 - Manuka Oval

Today was ACTAFL major semi-final day, Eastlake versus Sydney; winner into the grand final against Belconnen. Sydney won by one.

Footy photos - these were shot from behind the netted goalposts at the Cathedral end of Manuka Oval; the nets were a major ACTAFL innovation ending the need for players or spectators to retrieve a lost Sherrin, keen observers reckon on 20 minutes saved elapsed time per game.

Some Manuka shots.

And a late afternoon view along Fitzroy Street.
